Hi, I’m Alison Veitch, a licensed neuromuscular massage therapist and Reiki Master, and the practitioner behind Youthful Hummingbird Massage & Reiki. My work is grounded in the belief that healing is not only physical, but also emotional and energetic, and that the body responds best when care is thoughtful, respectful, and individualized. I offer a range of services including therapeutic and neuromuscular massage, deep tissue techniques, trauma-informed bodywork, Reiki energy sessions, and Lomi Lomi Hawaiian massage. Each session is intentionally tailored to your unique needs, whether you are seeking relief from chronic tension, relaxation, nervous system support, or deeper restorative care. My professional background includes an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts from Coastal Carolina Community College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with a concentration in Criminology and a minor in Anthropology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I completed my Massage and Bodywork Therapy certification at Guilford Technical Community College, specializing in Neuromuscular Therapy, and I am licensed through the North Carolina State Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy (License #21161). In addition to bodywork, I am trained in Reiki I, II, and Master level in the Usui Tibetan system of energy healing. My approach emphasizes clear communication, consent, and creating a calm, supportive environment where clients feel safe, seen, and respected. At the heart of my practice is a simple intention: to offer care that supports balance, presence, and reconnection with the body.
